Rock, Paper, Scissors for Minimal Pairs R/W

I love games, but my tolerance for involved rules, at least in the therapy room, is pretty low.  We have such a short time to start with; I don't want to waste time on how to play. We need to get started!

Rock, Paper, Scissors for Articulation speaks for itself since I've never had a child walk into therapy who didn't know how to play already. The fact that it’s a card game version hasn't stumped anyone yet!  Simply select 10 of each rock, paper and scissor cards with appropriate word targets for each player. Players shuffle their deck, then "rock, paper, scissor, shoot!"  Each player places their top card in the center of play.  Say the words and the winner (based on rock, paper, scissor) collects the cards. Did you get a tie?  Simply say the words and play the next hand.  As a bonus, I have kids make up a sentence for the word on the winning card.

I'm so excited to be part of Speechie Freebies!  Grab my freebie for Rock, Paper, Scissors for minimal pairs R/W here.
