High Frequency Word Lists

It's finally complete!  I've taken the 1000 most commonly used words in English and sorted them by target phoneme and position so I can be sure I'm using words in treatment that will have the greatest impact on my kiddos' conversation.

The words are listed in order of frequency of use rank (rather than alphabetical).  Words appearing in parenthesis have the same target in an additional position, for example you'll see (cook) on both the initila and final /k/ lists.  Words followed by an * have the target in a blend.

The 46 page download was too large for TpT (who caps freebies at 10 pages), so you can grab it off my Facebook page.  It includes:  K, G, F, V, L, TH, SH, CH, J, R (including additional sorts by vowel), S and Z.

Click here for Activity Tailor on Facebook, then click on "Free Downloads" right at the top of the page.

Happy New Year and best wishes for a wonderful 2014!
