Hands Up for Homophones

It's April!! For me, spring break is tantalizing close. It's been a long winter of only one snow day and a couple 2 hour delays. I think the students and staff are more than ready for a little break.

Today I'm bringing you a freebie that targets homophones. All worksheets are no prep, so what could be better than that?

There are three different types of worksheets included. You can get more details on my blog post.

Poppin' Final Consonants

Hello March! We're headed towards spring (even though where I live, we didn't have a real winter to speak of). Today, I have a fun NO PREP freebie that targets early developing final consonants.

There are two pages. You will give one of each to your students.

They can practice saying the words, coloring, cutting them out, and glueing them onto the popcorn container page.

Where is the Heart? Interactive Book

Hi everyone! This month, I'm bringing you a Valentine's Day themed freebie, since it's right around the corner. I needed a new activity to work on basic prepositions, so I decided to make this book:

It follows the same format as my other interactive books and the pages look like this:

Multiple Meaning Word KaBoom!

Hi everyone, it's Miss Thrifty SLP here with one of my new favorite games. While I haven't made very many materials lately, I thought that this one is just too good not to share for those of you with older students. I made this for my fifth grade groups as it's a pretty quick game that I can take into their classrooms.

Multiple Meaning Word KaBoom!

If you haven't run across any teachers in your school using this, you are likely to start a new trend at your school. KaBoom is a great game that I saw teachers using in their centers. You can make a KaBoom game for pretty much anything you might need. The best part is that the game NEVER ends.

You can head on over to my blog to learn more about this activity. Simply click on the picture below!

P & B Race Cars

2017 has arrived! What does that mean? Getting used to writing 17 instead of 16 (it'll probably take me a good month to stop messing that up). And a new freebie from me to you! I have quite a few friends working on bilabials this year, and I wanted to create something engaging and fun for them.

Enter P & B Race Cars!

Laminate the road pieces and tape together to make one long road piece. You can affix Velcro to the cars and the road if you want or just have your students place the cars on the road.

There are 12 cars each for /p/ and /b/ initial and final words. Yellow cars are /b/ words and blue cars are /p/ words.
